Summer Vacation

Brooklyn Joe's will be closed the entire week of the 4th of July. We will be closed from Mon July 4th thru Sun July 10th. We will reopen on Mon July 11th.

We are hoping to get some minor repairs and updates done to the restaurant over the week. We're going to be putting in a new toilet, moving some a/c vents and getting our generator up and running, among other things. Hoping that we can fit in a day or two of relaxing and catch up on some rest.

Well we are back open for business now and of course we didn't get everything done that we had planed. However we did get a lot of stuff done. We also just purchased a brand new True 72 cubic foot triple door freezer. Our previous freezer was 13 yrs old and on its last leg. We needed a new freezer and a bigger one. Hopefully this new freezer will last for a VERY long time and serve all of our needs.

We also got the backup generator running, YAY! No matter what, we will always have power. I know where I'm gonna be if a hurricane comes thru the area.

Also you can see our new sign that we have on Dixie Hwy. Look for the red framed sign on the back of the truck.  Gotta get our name out there somehow. Our welder really did an amazing job on the design and building of the sign.

As they say, you can't make money without spending money. New freezers aren't cheap, but your only as good as your tools.  Hopefully, no more issues for a while and it's smooth sailing though summer.
